As a New York state resident, when you take advantage of SUNY Empire State College’s partnership with ModernStates.org, you’ll have access to free online college courses and materials – giving you an opportunity to earn up to one full year of college credit tuition-free.

Just complete one or more online Modern States college courses, pass the corresponding College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) test, and earn credits through SUNY Empire, transferable to other SUNY colleges and universities.

Best of all, your CLEP courses, textbooks, materials and tests are all free. All you need is internet access.
